La Côte de granit rose[1] (en breton Aod ar vein ruz, littéralement « côte des pierres rouges ») est le nom d'une zone côtière de la Manche située dans les Côtes-d'Armor au nord de la Bretagne, dans la région historique du Trégor près de Lannion. Elle tient son nom par le fait que le granite qui affleure possède une dominante brune tirant sur le rose.

The Pink Granite Coast [1] (in Breton Aod ar vein ruz, literally "coast of red stones") is the name of a coastal area of the Channel located in the Côtes-d'Armor in the north of Brittany, in The historic region of Trégor near Lannion. It takes its name from the fact that the granite that rises has a dominant brown pulling on the pink.

Cette particularité géologique s'étend sur 10 km sur les communes de Perros-Guirec, Trégastel, Pleumeur-Bodou et Trébeurden (citées d'est en ouest). Elle forme un arc partant à l'est de Ploumanac'h, la Clarté (commune de Perros-guirec), l'Île Renote, le Coz-Porz, la grève Blanche (commune de Trégastel) jusqu'à l'Île Milliau (commune de Trébeurden) à l'ouest, traversant la partie non côtière de la commune de Pleumeur-Bodou[2],[

It forms an arc going east of Ploumanac'h, the Clarity (commune of Perros-guirec), the Île Renote, the Coz-Porz, the strike Blanche (commune of Trégastel) until the Milliau Island Trébeurden commune) to the west, crossing the non-coastal part of the commune of Pleumeur-Bodou [2],
Apart from its characteristic color, the coast is dotted with chaotic clusters, the flagship of which is the Douaniers trail that runs from the beach of Trestraou (Perros-Guirec) and ends at Saint-Guirec cove in Ploumanac'h.
  Not far from the village of La Clarté, a few quarries of pink granite are still in operation. You can see the original pink of the granite before it is weathered.
 
 

En dehors de sa couleur caractéristique, la côte est parsemée d'amas chaotiques dont le fleuron est le sentier des Douaniers qui part de la plage de Trestraou (Perros-Guirec) et aboutit à l'anse Saint-Guirec à Ploumanac'h.
Non loin du bourg de La Clarté, quelques carrières de granite rose sont encore en exploitation. On peut y voir le rose original du granite avant qu'il soit patiné par le temps.

Il existe trois côtes de granite rose dans le monde[4], une en Bretagne, une en Corse et une en Chine, ce qui en fait donc une destination de vacances assez prisée. Les îles faisant face à la côte (archipel des Sept-Îles) sont également peuplées d'espèces d'oiseaux rares et protégées ce qui fait du canton de Perros-Guirec un site vacancier écotouristique de renommée nationale.

There are three coasts of pink granite in the world [4], one in Brittany, one in Corsica and one in China, making it a popular holiday destination. The islands facing the coast (the Sept-Îles archipelago) are also populated with species of rare and protected birds, which makes the Canton of Perros-Guirec an eco-tourism holiday site of national fame.
